Based on the Peugeot 306 hatchback, the real 306 Maxi was transformed into a championship-winning rally car with widened fenders, a roof spoiler, a lightweight body, and a high-revving 2.0-liter engine producing around 280 horsepower. It achieved major victories in France and strong results in Monte Carlo and the global rally circuit, cementing its place as a fan-favourite F2 rally icon. Tamiya’s 1/10 scale model captures the aggressive, bulging-fender silhouette using a detailed polycarbonate body paired with an original rally-style livery. Separate ABS parts such as the side mirrors and roof spoiler add realism, while semi-pneumatic tires on 6-spoke wheels complete the authentic look.
